Good times.
There is a big wad of Laffy Taffy stuck on the inside of my dryer.
Before panic sets in, the good news is that it hasn't been damaging my clothes. That would mean that the bad news is that it is like hardened concrete, and I have no earthly idea how one might go about getting it off. Seriously, the heat from the dryer isn't melting it onto our clothes like you would think. The heat from the dryer seems to be heat-setting it on there even stronger...
Where is ol' Heloise with her helpful hints when I need her? I'm guessing there might not be a helpful hint regarding Laffy Taffy in the dryer, but hey, you never know.
And just for the record, that would not be moi who gave the Laffy Taffy to the person in question in this household that stands under four feet tall. I'm assuming it would be my bribe-loving hubby.
Yup.

Once I washed a pack of gum. Oh my goodness! It was on our clothes and in the dryer. It took days to scrape everything. Good luck!!
Ok, I can one up you on this... once a black crayon got into our dryer. Of all things... a black crayon! This crayon did not harden....noooooooooooooooo..... it melted onto the drum and every shred of fabric in the dryer. Lovely. No hint from Heloise for me either. Good luck on dislodging the taffy.
Oh my goodness! That does not sound fun! You'll have to let us know how you fix this one.
PS - Thanks for the sweet anniversary post on my blog! :)
That stuff is nasty. Good luck!
I didn't know they still made Laffy Taffy--I used to love that stuff!
I once dried a kid's art smock and got sticky paint all over the drum. After three hours and two Magic Eraser sponges, it was passably clean. Ugh.
Best of luck to you and please let us know how you get it out!
Any luck with the removal yet?
woh! I have no idea what to do with laffy taffy concrete...but it sounds like it might just meld into your dryer ;)
