One for me, and one for...

...ONE OF YOU out there in InternetLand!!!!

That's right, kids. My 200th post (200, ya' hear me?!) snuck up on me yesterday! Yes, I've been flapping my gums for 200 posts now. That's a lot. And a whole lotta posts means it's time for another GIVEAWAY!!!!!!!

I joined in on the CyberMonday fun today to knock some things off my holiday shopping list, and I decided I could run to my local Borders bookstore and reward myself as well, since I just so happened to have in my hot little hands a 40% off coupon. And while I was standing there in line, it dawned on me. My purchase would not only be an excellent gift to my hard-working self, but it would make a most excellent prize for a 200th post giveaway!

Yes, I'm not too proud to say it. I bought myself an early Christmas gift. A good one, of course. Want to know what it is?

PUSHING DAISIES SEASON ONE on DVD!!!!!!

Now, some of you out there might not yet be fans. And you might even be thinking, why possibly fall in love with a show that recently was doomed to the graveyard of forgotten TVLand? Tsk, tsk, tsk. Have you not learned anything from me? It is seriously one of the most wonderful little gems that has ever hit the Boob Tube, and even though it will be a short-lived series (I'm hoping they will go ahead and come out with Season Two on DVD after it ends), it is well worth the watch.

So, what are you waiting for? Leave me a comment telling me either your favorite Pushing Daisies character and why you love them so, or tell me why you would love to win the DVD set (and thereby promise me you will try to fall in love with it and not just recycle it as a Christmas gift for someone else -- don't think I can't read your mind). I will leave the giveaway open until this Friday, December 5th, at noon (Central Standard Time). Feel free to post it on your blog as well. If you do, leave me a comment telling me you did so and I will enter you another 2 times. (If I do it more than that the math might get too tricky in my head, haha.)

Ready............set..............GO!

Oh shoot, first comments NEVER WIN!! Oh well, I was hoping for the DVD set cause I never get to see the show. It is up against my DH and his beloved O'Reilly show on FOXNEWS...I have no chance getting the remote away from him....

I've heard so many good things about this show and was disappointed that it was being cancelled! I'd love to win the DVD of season one so that I can find out what all the excitment is about. Congrats on your 200th post!

I have never watched the show but need something fun to watch..is it fun? Lighthearted? Not too heavy? If so, I could watch it and possibly enjoy it as much as you! Thanks for considering me.

Ok, Chuck is definitely my fave! Who wouldn't love a girl who's name is Chuck, but has such a fabulous wardrobe? I was completely bummed that the show was canceled too. Due to an overburdened DVR, I missed a couple of episodes of the first season and I need the DVD set to fill in the gaps. Also, Friday is my birthday - I can't think of a better gift for myself! Of course I am going to add this to my blog to increase my chances too!

I've wanted to start watching this since you told me about. I was going to watch season 2 online, but then decided it was something I should watch from the beginning, and then was sad to see I couldn't since it is already on DVD.... I promise I'll watch it. And then I'll send it to Karen so she can watch it too.

I have only seen one episode and it was a month or two ago. Kristin Chenoweth's character was becoming a nun and the nun outfits were so outrageously fabulous I could hardly stand it. They had these little accordion folds that framed their faces like hearts. So great. I adore Kristin Chenoweth so without the full experience, she is my favorite.

My daughter talks about this show all the time. If I'd win the first set, then I could see the beginning!

I really like Olive. She is so cute and I love her hair! Of course who could not like Ned. He is such a cutie! I don't love Emerson, but I love that he knits.

Oh, my sweet, sweet Pushing Daisies...it seems like we only just met! I cannot believe fate would have our love affair end so soon. It's so not fair! I love the entire cast, but Olive is my fave, too. I mean, c'mon, I named a cat after her!

On the days that I'm not so crazy about my job, I wonder if I could open a Pie Hole of my own here in Wonderland. It doesn't help, however, that there's already a pizza joint by that name. Or that I don't really like to bake. But who wouldn't want to be a part of their world?! And I'm thinking I might start wearing an eye patch...Swoosie Kurtz makes it look so cool!
