You can't handle the cute.

So I picked up my reupholstered chair this morning.

Love. it.

It is so cute it deserved it's own photo shoot.

Here it is in the phone nook where it will stay most of the time. They not only reupholstered it, but they fixed the springs and added foam, so now my chair is extra comfy. Because everyone should be comfy when they are gabbing on the telephone!

In this shot you can see how they did a great job in centering a nice big flower on the seat. And do you like my crazy choice of red trim? I do! I like to add a touch of whimsy or something quirky whenever I can.

And look! It is so versatile! Just wheel it around the corner into the living room, and it becomes extra seating. Eventually there will also be matching and coordinating pillows and a quilted throw in there as well. (Um, yeah, when I get to it.)

All that cuteness kinda helped to soften the blow when I discovered this morning that one of my Italian greyhounds (Tex, cough cough, Tex) barfed last night on my red velvet sofa. Oh, and my ever-present "positive stacation attitude" definitely helped. And yeah, the fact that my dear husband (Ralph Macchio came back today, ladies!) was able to get it completely clean, that REALLY helped.

*This post was brought to you by the lovely Anna Maria Horner, whose Drawing Room fabric is on the chair. And by JCaroline Creative, from whom I purchased the lovely fabric. (Well, my little blog doesn't really have any sponsors, but I gotta hand the kuddos out to those ladies, just in case they should ever happen to stop by my blog for a visit -- wouldn't that be something?!)
